Volunteer

Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us. Our wonderful community of volunteers are at the heart of what we do, and we could not offer our services without them.

We currently have three volunteer vacancies in the Borough of Richmond.

Richmond Volunteer Chef (Thursdays) x1

Passionate about cooking and keen to support those in need? Why not volunteer for a couple of hours each Thursday as our Richmond Volunteer Chef, creating delicious vegetarian meals for guests of the foodbank to enjoy while they wait for their foodbank parcels to be packed.

If you would like to support our work, but don’t feel comfortable volunteering during foodbank sessions, please consider making a donation if you can. More details on how to donate can be found here.

Alternatively, you can volunteer your time in the Vineyard Community Charity Shops in Richmond. Proceeds from these shops are used to support Richmond Foodbank and The Vineyard Community Crisis Drop-In service, empowering those who are experiencing homelessness, food poverty and social isolation.
